Product Name:
Aluminum powder alloy ash
This high-hardness putty contains metal powder, making it easy to apply, scrape, and work with during construction. It boasts excellent toughness and strong adhesion, and once cured, it forms a thick, durable gray film that’s highly resistant to scratching—perfect for sanding and finishing. Ideal for filling in scratches, dents, pinholes, or casting defects on metal surfaces, such as repairing cast iron and cast aluminum parts. It’s particularly well-suited for restoring the surfaces of automotive wheel hubs.

Product Features and Suitable Substrates
- Suitable substrates: stainless steel, aluminum alloy, galvanized sheet, bare iron, fiberglass, and surfaces with existing paint layers.
- High-hardness putty contains metal powder, making it easy to apply and smooth for excellent workability.
- It features excellent toughness and strong adhesion, and after curing, it forms a thick, gray coating with high hardness—perfect for sanding.
- Filling scratches, pits, porosity, or casting defects on metal surfaces—for repairing cast iron and cast aluminum parts, among other applications;
- Primarily used for repairing the surface of car wheel hubs.
Construction Instructions
- Grind the substrate to be coated, and thoroughly clean away dust and moisture.
- Stir the aluminum powder alloy putty thoroughly, and knead in the putty hardener until evenly distributed; then mix according to the specified ratio.
- When applying by scraping, slightly extend beyond the damaged area. After the aluminum powder alloy putty has dried and been sanded, clean and dust the surface thoroughly before spraying the mid-coat primer layer.
- Thoroughly remove rust flakes, oil stains, old paint films, and moisture from the metal surface using solvents and a polishing tool, ensuring the substrate remains clean and completely dry before coating.
- Mix the putty and hardener at a weight ratio of 100:1.5–3 until thoroughly combined (ensuring a uniform color), and use the mixture within its gel time—typically ranging from 2 to 5 minutes for most putties. Keep in mind that the colder the temperature, the more hardener you’ll need to add; however, the hardener should generally not exceed a ratio of 100:3.
- Use a spatula to apply the prepared putty onto the sanded substrate surface that’s ready for coating. If applying a thick layer, it’s best to spread it in multiple thin coats until you reach the desired thickness. During application, if any air bubbles get trapped, make sure to smooth them out thoroughly with the spatula to ensure optimal adhesion.
- The optimal time for dry sanding is 30–40 minutes after applying and scraping the putty. Once properly sanded, remove any surface dust before proceeding with subsequent steps such as spraying the mid-coat paint, topcoat, or clear varnish.
Important Notes
- Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat and ignition sources, and protect from direct sunlight.
- If bubbles seep in during application, use a scraper to smooth it out thoroughly, ensuring excellent adhesion.
- If a thick coat is needed, apply multiple thin layers until the desired thickness is achieved.
- Unused putty and hardener must be stored tightly sealed; putty mixed with hardener should not be returned to its original container.
- Storage duration: 12 months.
