Applicable Substrate

  1. The surface of the old varnish layer, thoroughly dried after grinding;
  2. The surface of our company's 1K single-component base coat;
  3. Top-quality single-component color paint based on acrylic resin.

Construction Techniques

Surface cleaning

Use a dusting cloth to wipe away surface dust, particles, and other residues.

Mixing ratio (volume ratio)

Varnish : Hardener : Thinner
100 : 50 : 0 - 5%
Around 25°C, the fast-drying curing agent is suitable for spray application on 2–4 body panels (excluding flat surfaces).
Around 30°C, the standard curing agent can be sprayed onto 2–4 car panels (excluding flat surfaces).

Available time

Use a fast-drying curing agent at 5–15°C: 2 hours
When the temperature is between 15~25°C, use the standard dry curing agent: 2 hours.
Apply standard dry curing agent at 25–35°C: 1 hour

Spray painting tools And atmospheric pressure

Gravity-fed (top-pot) 1.2–1.4 mm
Siphon (bottom boiler) 1.3–1.5 mm
Traditional spray gun: 3–4 bar; RP spray gun: 2.0–2.5 bar; HVLP spray gun: 2.0 bar

Number of Spray Coats / Film Thickness

Viscosity after mixing: 18–20″ at 25°C;
Apply 2-3 coats; film thickness approximately 40–60 μm

Flash-drying time

Allow interlayer flash drying for 3–5 minutes at 25°C.
Allow to sit for 15–25 minutes (after surface drying) before heating and baking.

Important Notes

  1. When the temperature drops below 15°C, it is not recommended to allow the paint film to dry naturally after spraying. Instead, we suggest using a baking oven to heat the area to around 60°C for about 30 minutes.
  2. When the temperature exceeds 35°C, it is recommended to add a 5% diluent.
  3. If fish eyes are detected during the spraying process, immediately stop construction and add 0.5% to 1% of anti-sagging agent to the remaining paint before resuming spraying.
  4. At the coating film joint, you can directly spray the edge-sealing compound to achieve a flawless edge finish—refer to the specific instructions for using the edge-sealing compound for details.
  5. Varnish containing a hardener should be used up as soon as possible and must not be saved for later use.
  6. Please clean all spray tools immediately with thinner after use—otherwise, once they’ve hardened, they’ll be difficult to remove.
  7. If there are small particles or sagging areas after spraying, you can lightly sand them with 1200–2000-grit wet sandpaper once the paint film has fully hardened, followed by wax polishing.
  8. Shelf life: Store in a cool, dry place at 20°C. Unopened, with the original cap intact, it can be stored for up to 2 years.

In 2012, the company played a key role in drafting the industry standard HG/T 4561-2013, "Unsaturated Polyester Putty." Additionally, in 2021, it contributed to the development of a national standard—GB/T 41953-2022, "Paints and Varnishes—Determination of Moisture Content in Coatings by Gas Chromatography"—as well as the revision of another national standard: GB/T 6739, "Paints and Varnishes—Determination of Film Hardness by Pencil Method." In the coming years, the company plans to actively collaborate with several universities and research institutions through industry-academia partnerships, fostering innovation and co-developing cutting-edge products tailored to meet both customer needs and market demands. At the same time, we will continue strengthening our intellectual property strategy, with an ongoing focus on applying for and securing recognition for advanced technology projects. This includes pursuing certifications such as National High-Tech Enterprise status, Zhaoqing City High-Tech Enterprise designation, Guangdong Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center accreditation, and Zhaoqing City Engineering Technology Research Center certification, among others.
