Product Features and Suitable Substrates
- Suitable substrates: steel plates, iron sheets, fiberglass, and existing paint layers, among others
- The high-temperature putty is designed to withstand a "baking test" at up to 180°C.
- It exhibits exceptional heat resistance and outstanding adhesion.
- Primarily used on the surfaces of car hoods, hardware components, or other substrates that require high-temperature resistance.
Construction Instructions
- Sand the substrate ready for puttying, removing grease and moisture.
- Thoroughly mix the putty with the hardener until the color is evenly consistent.
- After mixing, quickly smooth it out within the working time. 4. Once cured after application, you can proceed with sanding.
- Use a polisher to gently sand the surface of the electrophoresis plate, removing any surface dust and ensuring the coated surface remains clean and dry.
- Mix the putty and hardener thoroughly at a weight ratio of 100:2 until the color is uniform. Use the mixture within the recommended working time of 3 to 15 minutes. If the mixed putty begins to set—noticeably increasing resistance when you start applying it—immediately stop using it. The usable time can be influenced by ambient temperature, humidity levels, and the amount of hardener added.
- Quickly press the mixed putty into the area to be applied, then swiftly smooth it out. As you apply and scrape, firmly pack the putty deeper into the surface to eliminate any tiny air bubbles—make sure none are left trapped in the substrate’s imperfections or gaps.
- If thick coating by scraping is required, apply in layers (2–3 times), allowing each layer to surface-dry for 30 minutes (check by ensuring the surface is no longer sticky to the touch). Each application should not exceed 0.1 cm in thickness.
- Grind only after the putty has fully hardened. Apply and scrape for 60 minutes, then sand using #240 or higher grit sandpaper—dry sanding with a sander is recommended. During the rainy season or in high-humidity conditions, slightly extend the sanding time.
- After applying the 4H coating, bake at a high temperature of 180°C. Allow the oven to cool down until its internal temperature is nearly identical to the ambient outdoor temperature before removing the item, to prevent excessive temperature differences that could lead to thermal expansion and contraction, causing bubbling or cracking.
Important Notes
- Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat and ignition sources, and protect from direct sunlight.
- If bubbles seep in during application, use a scraper to smooth it out thoroughly, ensuring excellent adhesion.
- If a thick coat is needed, apply multiple thin layers until the desired thickness is achieved.
- Unused putty and hardener must be stored tightly sealed; putty mixed with hardener should not be returned to its original container.
- Storage time: 6 months.

Our strengths
The company boasts a dedicated, in-house R&D team and currently holds multiple invention and utility model patents. In 2012, the company played a key role in drafting the industry standard HG/T 4561-2013, "Unsaturated Polyester Putty." Additionally, in 2021, it contributed to the development of a national standard—GB/T 41953-2022, "Paints and Varnishes—Determination of Moisture Content in Coatings by Gas Chromatography"—as well as the revision of another national standard: GB/T 6739, "Paints and Varnishes—Determination of Film Hardness by Pencil Method." In the coming years, the company plans to actively collaborate with several universities and research institutions through industry-academia partnerships, fostering innovation and co-developing cutting-edge products tailored to meet both customer needs and market demands. At the same time, we will continue strengthening our intellectual property strategy, with an ongoing focus on applying for and securing recognition for advanced technology projects. This includes pursuing certifications such as National High-Tech Enterprise status, Zhaoqing City High-Tech Enterprise designation, Guangdong Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center accreditation, and Zhaoqing City Engineering Technology Research Center certification, among others.
