Product Features and Suitable Substrates
- Suitable substrate: Effective for repairing dents and scratches on automotive plastic bumpers made of materials such as PP, PC, and ABS.
- Plastic alloy putty is composed of a base paste made from specialized polymer materials and a BPO curing agent, specifically designed for plastic substrates.
- It features strong adhesion and excellent resistance to deformation, with outstanding construction performance.
- Fills defects quickly and produces a smooth surface; dries rapidly and can be sanded down swiftly.
- It delivers excellent performance, resulting in a fine, smooth, and even putty film after sanding—perfectly meeting the efficiency demands of production.
Construction Instructions
- Sand the substrate ready for puttying, removing grease and moisture.
- Thoroughly mix the putty with the hardener until the color is evenly consistent.
- Quickly level after mixing within the workable time.
- After applying and scraping, allow it to harden before sanding.
- Thoroughly clean or sand the surface of plastic parts to remove oil stains, scratches, and other imperfections. Since dry grinding of plastics generates dust and static electricity, after sanding, use clean water or a damp, lint-free cloth to wipe away any remaining dust from the surface, followed by a final blow-down with an air blower to ensure the area is completely free of debris. Before applying the coating, make sure the sanded area is clean and completely dry.
- It is strictly prohibited to add diluents, such as thinner or turpentine, to reduce the viscosity of the coating. Adding solvents to the putty can lead to issues like bubbling, sagging, and cracking in the finished coat.
- After using the putty and hardener, immediately tighten the lids. Used putty must never be returned to its original container.
- During use, storage, and transportation, comply with relevant national safety regulations. It is recommended to wear safety goggles and protective gloves to prevent direct contact between skin and eyes and the product, as well as to avoid inhaling its vapors.
Important Notes
- Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat and ignition sources, and protect from direct sunlight.
- If bubbles seep in during application, use a scraper to smooth it out thoroughly, ensuring excellent adhesion.
- If a thick coat is needed, apply multiple thin layers until the desired thickness is achieved.
- Unused putty and hardener must be stored tightly sealed; putty mixed with hardener should not be returned to its original container.
- Shelf life: 12 months.
